WG owes me 117 760 credits

I was just in a game where my Lexington would not receive the most basic commands.

 

What I could do:

• make an autopilot waypoint
• manually select aircraft through the hotbar on the bottom of the screen with my mouse
• manually launch aircraft by pressing the F symbol with my mouse
• relocate aircraft by clicking and dragging the waypoint
• manually land aircraft by pressing the F symbol with my mouse
• hold Tab to show scoreboard

What I couldn't do:

• manually set my speed by pressing W or S
• manually set my steering by pressing A, D, Q, or E
• automatically select my aircraft by pressing the number keys
• click for a waypoint for my aircraft
• automatically launch/land my aircraft by pressing the F key
• make an automatic attack run for strike aircraft
• attack other aircraft with my fighters
• send a defend order for my aircraft
• press R for repair party (when I was on fire)
• type in chat
• press Tab to change chat type
• press shift to change between view modes

What resulted:

I ended up stuck at half speed. Since I couldn't do anything with my aircraft, I decided that I'd just try to run and hide along the border, while at half speed. Enemy ended up catching up to me quickly enough and disposed of me (hence why I am owed 177 760 117 760 credits; it was my net loss after the match paid me 24 640 credits).

 

I couldn't even type in chat to let my team know how useless I was.

i know WG wants us to play low tiers...but to keep players you need something for them to aim for. and if that goal is unappealing....then theres no point to go for it.  and thus cuts the reason for playing.

 

heck i'm getting bored of co-op...been playing less and less.  and more and more of GW2 and AW for their appeal for the goal i want to attain.

I had this happen in my BB. I alt-f4ed and got in and it worked.

Was in a match earlier in my Farragut and my steering was acting like i was in my New York, ping was right around 40-50, the whole game. It showed my rudder was turning fast in the UI but the ship just didn't respond....ended up eating a torp cause it wouldn't turn.

Do any fellow CV players have problems with the Alt + L click TB attack? I'll try and set up an Alt attack but then the game won't let me left click to confirm the attack. Super annoying and not all that uncommon of an experience for me.

I haven't used alt-F4 but if I close the game from the program manager and relog it takes me straight to port and won't attempt to try to reconnect to the battle like WoT. Also super annoying.

I dont know, but i do make around the same credits or more in my T8 and T9 ships as i do in my lower Tier ones, except when i have a really bad game then i make nothing or loose a few.

So in my experience you only do worse in higher tiers if you play very bad.

An average game in high tier for me means i make above 100k credits, dont get all the fuzz.

Carrier and BB repair cost at T8 is over 100K, in the 120-145K range.

Cruisers are 94K(Mogami), 100K(New Orleans) and 70K(Atago, Premium so it is cheaper)

DD cost is unknown to me but generally these numbers are around 1% of the purchase price.

Yup. I think after tier 6 (or 7) the repair bills are painful. First time I lost my NC in CBT and saw the repair bill I almost choked.
