Friendly Damage Penalty

So I completely understand penalizing players for harming there allies. It should keep allies from harming each other on purpose. Problem I just ran into though was one of my allies in my last match crashed into me. Ended up doing more damage to there ship then mine. At the end of the match I got a decent penalty for harming them even though they where the ones who crashed into me! That's not really fair at all penalizing players for something that wasn't even them just because the other person got more damaged. Just something that happened to me and thought I would point out.

As long as you aren't in danger of a ban, I wouldn't worry about it.
