2 Voodoo_Actual Beta Testers 9 posts 297 battles Report post #1 Posted August 15, 2015 I have a question for the community please. I currently have a six or seven skill captain in my tier IV Japanese cruiser. I am wondering what is the best way to train him so that I can use his skills once again? I really do not want to use gold, I have plenty of in-game currency. I am close to unlocking the tier V, and am also wandering if the penalty grows with progression if you do not have him fully trained for the current ship? Please help me with this issue as it is kind of driving me nuts. I would love to be able to use all the skills I have assigned to him, but he is still in the red . Another two to five battles and I will have the tier V unlocked. What is the best way to proceed? Please I have the early access premiums, but I just hate to drive the tier 4 Japanese cruiser, and I cannot accelerate his training with the ship so all I am doing is making good credits, and having a bunch of XP on a ship that I cannot convert at the moment. I spend the in game cash option to pay the first half, then a few games in the Atlanta for the rest. On the IJN side, I have an Atago, but I don't play my IJN ships that much. I should say, that primarily, I do the above with my DD captains. I need my situational awareness crutch to work, as I'm far too unskilled with DD's to not know when I am detected. My cruiser/BB captains, can generally fend for themselves paying the cost with reduced benefits from their perks.

After the last big patch, you now have 5 minutes to change your mind. There is a countdown timer on your captain's personnel file, once it counts down, he's gone. In the past, if you really messed up, you could send a support ticket to a NikoPower or AlsoRobots, and they could see if you could get him back... But, maybe not now, that you have five minutes to realize your mistake.
