Yeah, the tier 5 platoon got into a tier 8 game.  Today I saw a tier 6 platoon in a tier 10 game, and the platoon was a tier 6 and 2 tier 5s.

Actually this probably will still happen - the Langley was part of a fail division and as such dragged into a T8 game as if that was appropriate.
