Trouble fighting a New Mexico?

I'm posting this knowing that I will probably get a lot of replies back saying how Noob I am or that I should have just kept aiming right or blah blah blah.  This is for the players here who have been having a tough time trying to find where to hit the citadel on a New Mexico. 

 

I'm subscribed to Jingles on Youtube and he recently put up a new video about the current public test.  In the video he was sailing in his New Mexico and went one on one against another New Mexico....watch where he shoots until finally getting that hit.

 

 

Granted these ranges are at point blank and this is on a public test where BB accuracy below 3kms has been improved.  You can see that he has hit where in other ships the citadel would be and didn't get the hit.  Even underneath the turrets, he wasn't getting the citadel hits.  HOWEVER, look where he hits at the 10:14 mark.  Not underneath the smoke stack, but behind it.  Right in front of the rear turrets.  This would explain why (at least for me anyway) I haven't been able to find it.  I am still having trouble trying to find the ammunition spots, but at least Jingles here has helped to find the citadel spot at the boiler room.  Hope this helps any BB drivers out there.

Also, that New Mexico driver F'ed up by turning in a way that made it even slower to turn his guns instead of turning into Jingles and keeping his cannons on target.

Battleship turrets have a hard enough time getting on target with close ranges, why make it harder ?

Anyone recognize the map that's in the video at about the 14+ minute mark?  I haven't seen that one before.  The foliage reminds me of the Pacific Northwest, I think.
