First off, this is not a name & shame thread, just a place to post those oh-so-close, coulda/woulda/shoulda games. Plus, you get to brag a wee bit about those games you should have won. 

 

I'll start this off with a tear-jerker from earlier today. One of my best games yet in a DD, and just could not drag the team to victory. 

 

 

200k+ damage, almost 20% hit rate on torps, 5 kills and no 2x for me. ::tear::

 

Of special note was our second Iowa. He rushed cap at about the 5min mark and lost to a Atago and a Cleve, iirc. All while doing no damage. There are no words.....

That's what you get for letting a South Carolina think it's a real ship by sinking you.  Don't encourage it.

Not a draw but a loss that really shouldnt've happened..... I was furious at my team when I saw them all die like lemmings after I was sunk.

That can be the worst, make a huge impact but get killed and feel certain they can clean up. Then sit there and watch them throw the game way...

Don't have a screenshot to post (...I refuse to SS my draws...), rather I have a story regarding draws. My youngest brother just began playing the game and in one of his matches yesterday he ended up as the lone survivor against five enemy ships. He was playing a DD and his team kept telling him to sail away from fighting and draw the game out. When he refused they started hurling insults at him for wanting to fight it out but he wanted to at least go down swinging, which he proceeded to do and take out several enemy ships before they finally got him. 

 

He laughed it off but admitted he was perplexed by his teammates telling him to run away from the fight. Either trolling is getting out of hand or people mistakenly believe a Draw is somehow better than a Loss (hint: it isn't).
