Salutations Captains!

     As you all know, World of Warships is a game about war... But there are always those funny moments that bring a smile to your face. I've realized that there is no specific thread created for sharing these glorious moments, so I will make one! Share your funny moments and laugh among your peers. For the victims of these events, please know, it's all in good fun. It's a game respecting those who served and our playing is a tribute to the brave souls who fought for their countries.

LET THE HILARITY BEGIN!

I snuck up on an enemy shokaku without them noticing... I gave them a warning, but the shokaku thought otherwise...

I torped myself in my Omaha last match. I launched them at a dd and turned to fire a broadside. the end of my ship clipped a torp somehow.

Wish I had the replay. Back in CBT, rammed my Hosho into a marginally damaged Fuso (I had no aircraft left, what else is there to do?). Took us both out. My team found it hilarious; he did not.

I wish I had a picture from CBT of the guy who blew my CA up in CBT at start.  They were in a BB and the only comment they made was, "Sorry, I needed to unload my HE rounds.."   Had the whole team in stitches..

I had a member of a prominent game and forum clan shoot 2 torpedo salvos at me within 1km and he missed. I was taking evasive action in my New York and blew him the frak out the water for his mistake. He/she was not very happy and made it known in chat. To this day I wish I had a video of that. To be a fly on the wall in that teamspeak.

I don't find funny moments in this game like I do in BF4. Though there are some that epic. My slow [edited]Fuso dodging eight torps is what I call epic.

In my last game at the end i noticed this.. i think there was some descent with the bots.

I accidentally engaged in a DD vs. DD fight in which torps spammed everywhere and I ran for the cover of a nearby island chased by a DD and CL. As I made the turn to get behind the island my torps reloaded, so I fired them to discourage pursuit...

 

The DD must have seen them because he turned hard, right into the path of the CL which rammed and killed him. Fortunately for the CL, having a DD broadside on your bow is handy for intercepting a six-torp spread. Unfortunately for the Cruiser, ramming a DD does significant damage to your ship.

 

At this point all I had to do was to come back around the island to fire into the nearly dead CL, and I could slip back into stealth mode to go a-hunting again. As I rounded the corner, zoomed in on the CL with my guns ready to fire, I heard the "Beep! BeEP! BEEP!" of doom. The DD had dropped torps with his last breath and I drove right into them before I could line up a shot.

 

A minute later the CL sunk from the flooding the DD ram had inflicted. I got two unrecorded kills, suicided, and got zero exp for it!

-Play Izumo on North, standard battle.

-Spot enemy Hatsuharu at 9km away.

-Load HE for next salvo at the Hatsuharu.

-Hatsuharu goes invisible.

-Decide to go ahead and shoot that load of HE at the enemy Cleveland 14.5 kilometers away, because why not?  Load AP for next salvo at Cleveland.

-HE shell detonates Cleveland for 32k health.

I PURPOSELY ran aground so I could torp a Myoko and a Murmansk in my Murmansk. Killed them both, got a "It's Just a Flesh Wound!" award for killing the Murmansk after dying. Ignited some enemy rage from an Atlanta, and got 2nd XP on team, which I don't believe I deserved tbh. I screwed up and got lucky.

Fired a wayward shot in my Nagato at a DD just to scare him. Was an obvious miss until he turned last second and it hit and detonated him. Luckiest shot I've ever had.
