I literally just got set on fire 6 *edited* times within 30 seconds facing both a kuma and a phoenix in my omaha... That's right, 6 (six) different fires. 5 were simultaneously burning... Jesus christ guys, its just too much. Either reduce the chance of fire per shot or cut the time it takes to put out fires by half or something! Seriously, its been an issue for too long! Right now, it doesn't make sense that a ship can have that many fires going all at once, and then get immediately set on fire again after you put them out. There needs to be some kind of a cool down to being able to be set a blaze again while the repair party is on cool down. Doesn't make a lick of sense. I mean, think about it. If have a big bonfire, and you take several fire hoses to it and put it out completely, there is almost NO WAY your gonna get it re-lit again short of napalm flame throwers due to how soaked it is after hosing it down. WG really needs to fix this mechanic, for ALL ships. Also, people NEED to realize that AP rounds are a cruisers worst nightmare, NOT HE rounds. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Only thing I would change is cap the number of total fires going at the same time to 2 instead of 4 or so like they have now. Have lots of games where I get fireproof by just letting the fire burn and use my repair ability (that's what it is for) so it is not OP, except when you get those 3x stacks or more at a time and that's when I start to rage. Very nice, is it just me or did anyone else read the last sentence & have a British accent going with it? But yes I can agree the fires need to be nerfed at least a little. As a navy vet, I can tell you there is nothing aboard thats gonna sparek up like this under gunfire. Missile hits, maybe. Guns...especially guns popping HE...nope. I am not saying I would be the god of BBs were it not for cruisers I'm not a very good player to begin with but I get frustrated when a cruiser is firing on me landing 75 percent of his salvo every time he fires and when my guns finally reload I land shells in front of behind and on both sides of him and out of twelve shells I might get one overpenetration for 1000 damage and I have two or three fires going and repair is on cool down. doesn't happen every game but its frustrating when it does. however I do have great fun doing this same thing to BBs while I drive cruisers. I hate to say it but I think at least with us Cruisers t3 through 6 need an accuracy nerf if bbs are going to have the accuracy they have now ijn cruisers don't seem to have the same punch but I'm not that high yet so never face them much Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was in my cleveland before and I was able to destroy a New York using a combination of HE shells and fires they lit to sink it before he had me down to 3/4s health.
