downloaded new patch played one battle then boom at the log in screen

in a  battle, ship just sunk, getting ready to head back to the port when I am suddenly looking at the log in screen, and it says error logging in, please try again later, did the servers crash?

Same thing happened to me. Mid game and crashed . Finally got to log in after many tries and boom!!! Mid game crash. I tried WoT's SAME THING!!!

What gives?
