There's a reason why this thread was locked before.

 

It's because without it, people would either find a way to make it part of a mod pack themselves, or just give up on playing destroyers because torpedoes are the main armament of a destroyer.

 

So no, this will not happen, ever.

It won't, because everyone has this aim assist by default. It's not part of any mod pack at all -- it's a core function of the game.

Unfortunately, it really does seem that poor Reedy doesn't realize this fact at all, and has been killed one too many times by Sailing in a Straight Line^TM, so he wants to nerf destroyers into oblivion.

1) It is not a mod. 

2) Even good torpedoists have a poor success percentage.

3) The cycle time for torpedoes is in minutes not seconds. We cannot fire and correct as one does with primaries.

4) Stop steaming in straight lines and change your speed frequently. You will have less to complain about.
