What's the most citadels you have got in a single game?

Hey, I made a video today that is me getting 16 citadel hits in a match. The match only lasted for 6 minutes! So this means you can get more than double that in terms of citadel hits in a match, right?

So I want to know: what's your record number of citadel hits in a single match?

 

I posed a similar question on EU forums and they gave the reply of 25 citadels in a Cleveland! Most others were in the 15-16 mark with cruisers and ~10ish with battleships. So what do you guys offer?

I think I got 6 in a single volley once. I was in a Pensacola, firing at a perfectly broadside New Orleans at maybe 4km.

I think 10 with a battleship, don't remember which one.  Probably my Amagi or North Carolina.

Well, the highest in a single volley for me was probably 5, which almost killed a full HP Iowa, and shown in this video:

I once got 12 cits in my Murmansk once. 6 of which were in one volly lol

 

Was my best match to date. I also remember getting something like 9 or 10 in my Omaha back in CBT. Cant remember much of that match though lol

8 in my 2nd battle in a Stock Omaha. Had an Omaha and a Phoenix shooting at me from about 8k out. They were shooting HE, and got me down to about 60% health before they died.

 

If I ever had any doubts about shooting cruisers with AP instead of HE, that's settled

17 in the Atago, from 65 hits (26% citadels).  Might not be the most but one of the higher percentages.

Had an 9 Citadel game in the Kongou yesterday, but team lost so I raged without a screenshot. 

 

My top game for citadels was in CBT 3.1, but I don't think internal armor was modeled properly back then.  12 citadels.  5 were on a salvo at a Nagato:  hoped to hit his engine room but also hit his turret citadels.

17 in the Atago, from 65 hits (26% citadels).  Might not be the most but one of the higher percentages. 

 

 

Citadel hits are not counted as Target hits, so you actually hit the target 82 times, 17 of them are hits to citadel, that's 20.7% and still very impressive

For a round? 16 citadels in Omaha and Murmansk close behind.

Single volley? 4 citadels with Murmansk.

Most in a match? 9. But with a BB back before OBT. I think it was the Fuso.

I got 8 in the Phoenix the other night before I died. Sooooo much easier to get citadels cruiser vs cruiser though.

I've had as many as 8 or 10 in one game with my Cleveland.  Most I've done with a battleship in OBT is 6.  You would see the numbers go higher in CBT when the Battleship armor was borked.

They did both decide to enter a close range brawl with me, but I was shooting other stuff too.  notice the Confederate award.
