New Co-op Mode, space ships(the return)

For all of you newer members who were not here for CBT, we had a gag game mode that involved turning most of the tier 10s we had into Space battle ships.

 

It was a hoot and totally off beat.  I think it should come back in a special Co-op mode.  Fight bots, and you get basically stock officers and ships that can't be used except in the mode, but it would be fun to see the space battleships return.

 

Also give players a chance to experience tier 10 ships without the pain of the grind.  You'd get no rewards for this mode, no credits, no XP, but some funky looking/cool ships to play around with. Plus they could expand to include all tier 10s.

 

Just something fun to kick back and have some fun with and benefit is letting players try out tier 10s without having to grind them first.

 

Just a thought that popped in my head.

 

And if someone has a video of those fun times, please share.

Wish they would bring it back as a ccredit and experience mode like it was in CBT.  Was a really fun mode and the graphics and effects were great.

All I'm going to say is they did that little Event or whatever you wish to call it. Everyone loved it, and yet now every time I go to select which forum I'm going to I see one for this 'Masters of Orion' and well. I think they're taking your hint, and going a little further with it.

I like the idea my guess is they will just bring back space mode for April fools each year for a weekend or so.

 

Although if they really wanted to freak people out they could make a submarine April fools map.

i am totally down for this idea.. i hate to see those ships just pushed away in the back to be brought out only for 4 days every year....
