Rampant TK

I'm not sure in my 8k battles in WoT of seen such rampant TKing. Literally game after game of multiple players literally running up and torping or citadeling allies...

Honestly no. I've seen perhaps two true teamkillers in 1000 battles between CBT and OBT....and none since the start of OBT that I recall.

 

Mind you, I don't deny it, I just havn't seen it.

Seen deliberate TKing in three games, twice in CBT and once in OBT. Possibly not as big of an occurrence as you're thinking it is, unless it is more rampant in high tier games.

Just send a support ticket with enclosed screenshots or replays. Whether they're getting suspended or not it's up to Wargaming but at least you did your part.

Yes, i have seen it - more in the lower tiers since people dont risk their accounts in high tiers.

From WG a few months ago (17MAY2015) regarding TK/Insulting player. I opened a ticket.

 

"Thanks for contacting us regarding this issue, we know it can be frustrating. 
With our recent patch we have implemented a Team Kill penalty system and will be looking to see the results of its use.

I played over 2,400 games in CBT and have 1,050 in OBT. I've seen about 12 intentional TKs in total.

I have played almost 2k games between CBT and OBT and I have seen only 2 blatant tker's. Now I don't hang around in the lower tiers that much and that seems to be  where a lot of them are.

Well, looks like any system of getting rid of TK's doesn't work. The first battle, this guy popped up in purple: *****. He started the battle by killing 2 ships. The first battle he was on my team, so we lost. The very next battle he was still there, on the other team, killed two ships there. So if he was purple already, why has he shown up in the first battle, let alone in the second battle. This guy does not want to play but grief. So he needs to be banned permanently. People like this don't deserve a second chance. So wargaming, do the right thing. Ban him. Get his IP and ban his ability to play with another account. He does not belong in any team based game.

It's rampant now.  Saw it so much this weekend I logged and went elsewhere for my entertainment.   And confirmed, you can't report them abnd they are not, repeat NOT turning pink!?!  Funny thing, a few people laugh, most just ignore it and it seems to be accepted as routine.  I also have been noticing massive levels of profanity and or abusive language.  In closed beta I recommended this game to several friends...now I warn people off, the community is quite toxic and the game seems to be slanting to favor the bottom feeders of Internet gaming.

No...what we have been seeing is quite obviously intentional.  As for warning people off it is more to do with the toxic community and not the TK'ing.  Most games these days have a profanity filter that is on by default which helps...this does not.  Neither does it have the ability to mute someone in-game....only blacklisting out of game but by then it is too late.

Tking is definitely an issue. I've seen over a dozen in less than 200 games.

Have only seen one blatant TK and that was two players arguing and decided to go at each other. Everything else has just been irresponsible torp launching which happened to me twice in one day.. kinda like winning the detonation lotto..

Report 'em by control right click on their name and note bad play, and possibly also foul language.  Once out of match file a ticket, and submit a replay file if ya got one.  (serious player are set up to save replays.  It how you can look at what you did wrong, or right!) It will have a chat log of the match and let the GM staffers deal with it.  Thats is what they get their princely paychecks for  (and they are pretty close to that.  Nice work if you can get it!).   There is no preventative maintenance for dealing with jerks that purposely TK or damage team mates other then Wargame net making it visibly clear that they have zero tolerance of bad sportsmanship.   Companies that have a rep for actually doing something are on the slim side I'm afraid.   I'm not overly aware of wargame net rep in this regard.  But I do note they are apparently pretty clear on whats ok, and whats not.  Usually a good sign.  ((What? You read the EULA.  Uh, yes I did.  Its not always legal boilerplate.))

 

Do what you can as a member of the community.  Let wargame net staff do their own part.  It's what they are paid to do, and for they get paid...they're expected to do the job.

TK are on the raise. I was killed tonight myself. Cruiser spammed torps behind me no warning or nothing. Did not even say sorry. The next match got hit again still nothing was said for warning or sorry. Then their is divisions out their doing team kills. So WoWs does need to look into this. No easy answer for sure.
