I opened World of Warships after upgrading my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and the menu screen is zoomed in to an extreme degree. The ship model does not appear to have been affected, just everything else. I can not see or access about half the content, including a good chunk of the Settings tab. I have been unable to zoom the menu out. All other parts of the game are similarly affected. None of my other programs seem to have been affected in this manner. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Might try exiting the client and deleting your preferences file. First I have seen this bug reported though. Sounds like your in 800x640 in game?

I've tried to change the settings in-game, but have been unsuccessful. What is GPU and how would I check it? Sorry, I'm a bit of a technoob. Thanks for the help! We used to call it a video card 15 years ago. Your computer control center that runs the display. Make sure your GPU is running your display, at it's native aspect and resolution. Then in game open options select full screen and then, after the options all open up, select your native aspect and resolution again Before clicking Apply. Some laptops get very fussy if you try to run games not in the proper aspect and resolution. You may need to exit the game and delete the preferences file and start over with fresh options if you run into problems. Very easy. Make sure you have the new windows 10 drivers also. Google and you can find walk throughs on how to do it with your particular rig.

7 Kyrios_Mirage Members 28 posts 3,480 battles Report post #7 Posted August 9, 2015 Okay, for those wondering: Problem appeared to be related to Processor and Video Card being sub-optimal. Re-boot of preferences was unsuccessful. However, I managed to muck around in Settings via TAB & Enter keys (plus copious amounts of guess and check) to set the game to run as Full Screen. This appears to have solved the problem, at least for now.
