There are some problems with some US battleships.

1. Although heavy armor, they have quite low health even when upgraded.

2. On new york and Wyoming, turret 3 is derpy and won't turn, even if we can see that it will

3. New mexico has a VERY short range for those 14 inchers.

Thats around it.

This might be in the wrong section, I didn't find a topic to put this thread in.

Also a problem is that some premium ships are quite expensive

1.  HP is dependent upon the overall displacement of the ship, bigger ship equals more HP.  A battleship doesn't get more HP because it's a battleship, it gets more HP if it's actually larger.

2.  The center turret has a limited firing arc, you will have to maneuver to unmask it for firing.

3. The effective range for main battery armament is based upon the fire directors installed on the ship.  For instance, a 14 inch or 354mm gun can lob a shell more than 40km, but if the fire director can only see 15km that's the range.  To limit the range and allow the matches to be held on smaller maps, WG elected not to use the indirect firing range of naval guns.  Unless the prospect of having a DD sitting just out of detection range spotting for a BB over the horizon lobbing shells on you without ever seeing the BB or even being able to fire back.  Can you say battleship cancer?

We keep saying that, and the Colorado keeps mocking our ignorant sorrow.
