Some people say what a controller for Warships that's weird, or how can i do it. Trust me it's a real nice feeling when you get it setup correctly! Get a Controller Duhh. Download JoytoKey http://joytokey.net/en/download Warship Config https://www.dropbox.com/s/57yjcauwkfb5iik/Warships.cfg?dl=0 Drop it in the joytokey folder Left sitck: Left(A), Right (D) Right Stick: Mouse movement all directions Right Stick Click: Right-Click RIght Trigger: Fire Weapons/ L-Click Left Trigger: Scope/Shift Left Trigger Click- Z Right Bumper: Change Shell Type/ 1,2 must press button twice to change D-Pad- Up-W/Bow, Down-S/Stern, Left- Full-Port/ Left, Right- Full Starboard / Right Buttons A.X.B.Y- Keys T.Y.R.U Star Button= . Once you've got joytokey running you can use your controller to see the mapped key corresponding with controller keys it will change to yellow as key is being used. Also if you want to use your triggers like on my Config I have Left Trigger Scope/Aim and right to shoot. You will need to go to option tab and Stick/POV show all axis. Well I just started playing this game like Two days ago and I also have other crapto do... but I figured I'd share a controller setup since there is none on the forums. also you don't fail actually it's about as good as mouse and keyboard though I have not unlocked carriers yet so I haven't figured out a config for carriers. I don't think joytokey needs much advertisement they've been around for years. Now if I had put Xpadder up yea I would say so cause you have to pay for the software. Also I doubt a advertiser for something would make a account 2012 ago to plug its progam 4years later but that's just me. I know, it's useless. just curious, where in life are you? Unemployed. Not dropped out of school. Currently reading a series of books of which there are more than 50 of, studying Computers and how they work. Playing games like WoWS, WoT, and Pokemon X. My family makes great income with my mom making 50,000 a year as a Nurse. Unsure about my Dad. I'll be either going into the Navy and then Graphic Design. Working as a Server and Bartender at a High-End restaurant loving it I working construction before hand and I make more money now then I did slave laboring was shocked I could make bank while in A/C lol. I've got my own apartment in Downtown Houston though thinking of getting a house in the subs not sure yet. working on building my next Gaming Rig so excited if anyone would like to take a look http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yTjV8d. I play console games and love controllers, FPS or racing Sims are made with a controller in mind and WoWs is not. I can't imagine trying to play this game with one, I'm sure people said the same thing about tanks before it was ported to 360 though... I might break out my old PS controller and see how it feels, but like probably anybody else that reads this topic in the forums I'm going to guess I will hate it. For a racing or sports game? Absolutely! That's what my ps4 is for. For a FPS or a game like wows though? Keyboard and mouse all the way! Why in the hell would I want to set up an inferior control method, when playing on a computer with a mouse and keyboard that allows much better range of motion, and therefore accuracy ? And before anyone say it's not inferior, look at any game that tried to have PC and console meet in a shooter, the console players got slaughtered. I played WoT for the 360 for a while and it was fine using a controller... Because you were playing against players using said controller. Every FPS that tried to put PC versus consoles resulted in console players getting slaughtered, which is why no one tries to do that anymore. Mouse's range of motion gives better accuracy, and controller FPS have aim assist to compensate for this limitation. Play with whatever you want, but don't expect anyone used to mouse controls to think you're sane if you claim controllers can compete with it, anyone who has used both knows mouse is better.
