498 [JOLLY] Bl4ckBaron Alpha Tester 579 posts 6,287 battles Report post #1 Posted July 31, 2015 Hello all, I made this guide for my personal use because my visual memory for diagrams and graphics is so much better than for letters and text. Also, I firmly believe in condensing everything important about a subject in 1 picture. Please find the guide below. Best regards. P.S. - This is another visual guide I made about Damage:

My Yamato used to take around 300 dmg per sec per fire, in the old days, which falls in line with the 0.3%. But I can assure you it is now closer to 500 damage a tick. From just using rough calculations, it is now is now closer to 0.5% of HP pool for fires and 0.6-0.7% for flooding. If you want to test with me and get exact numbers, send me a PM. have training room, montana, yamato, and friends with T10 CV to test out.

The wiki says different, though admittedly the wiki is incomplete and a WIP. Haven't seen a dev quote on it yet either. When firing at short ranges, the dispersion feels more like what the real world dispersion looks like (with several shots falling more short or long than wide). Hmm, I think there's a way to test this properly.

The damage you see in-game is actually dealt every 2 seconds. His visual guide lists it for every 1 sec. And yes, I tested them in training rooms very recently. As I said, for the damage guide I used information from a lot of sources and one of them was amade, as I acknowledge. On my guide the damage is per second, in-game is every 2 seconds. The damage you see in-game is actually dealt every 2 seconds. His visual guide lists it for every 1 sec. And yes, I tested them in training rooms very recently. Thank you amade for the clarification and support.

When firing at short ranges, the dispersion feels more like what the real world dispersion looks like (with several shots falling more short or long than wide). Hmm, I think there's a way to test this properly. amade, for the dispersion orientation and shell distribution I used my game observation plus the information of this blog article: http://blog.worldofwarships.ru/shells/ I did not expanded about the dispersion of BB guns up until 5 km because I think the actual model is different from the overall dispersion model in order to add extra survivability to smaller ships at close range. I think that destroyers and cruisers use the overall dispersion model with minimum (zero) dispersion at zero distance and maximum dispersion at maximum range. BB's just get an artificial increase in dispersion under 5 km range but I am not able yet to figure out the exact model. Anyway, in the blog post the author reveleas that WG is testing a new dispersion model for BB's under 5 km range.
