Can't login to forums using MS IE browser 11

I cannot login to the forums using the IE browser ... Chrome works just fine.

 

Watching the address bar, I see it flipping between http://forum.worldofwarships.com/ and https://na.wargaming.net repeatedly ... 

 

Oddly, it does show me logged in at the top of the forum screen ...

If it's doing that it's trying to authorize your log-in.

Go log out of wargaming then try it again.

Yes, I knew it was cross site navigating to authenticate me to the forums... And yes, I logged out, logged back in, same results... Even rebooted the PC in between... And no, Chrome doesn't do it, so it is something specific to the current MS IE browser or the browser setttings...

 

This time, I was actually able to catch a more full URL:

(NOTE: all http: and https: were changed to ttp: and ttps: so it can be read...

Which brings up the question of what is this third site:  http://specs.openid.net

 

Is it safe and if so, should it be added to my trusted sites, which might stop the cross domain linking issue ???
