in the future, will we be able to control our main turrets individually, so i can attack more than 1 target at a time?  i should be able to at least have my stern guns pointed to the rear and bow to the front.  this having ALL my guns trained on 1 fixed point is just wrong.

The St. Louis have about 20 guns on it. Good ship

she reminds me of those old age ships with huge broadsides

Need to play ships that have side mounted main guns then, like the St Louis, Kawachi and just steer your ship so the other guns can shoot another ship. Don't forget to hit the "X" key to designate the new target.

Would be interesting to see, but like in the actual war, impossible to hold a firefight between multiple ships. Plus you want the DPS on one ship, not multiple.

St.Louis I believe was a Pre-dreadnought so it was coming off that transitional time period between the old wooden ships.

With the slow speed of turrets, sometimes you get to fire at one target then spin around and hit another target.  WG won't add single turret control,. I would just like to control the forward and after turrets.  That would work for me.

Agree totally with Barake above.

This is one instance when the slow turn of a BB's turrets can actually help.  More than once, when angling in, it's been possible to engage two targets, one ahead and one astern with minimal turret shift each time purely because of the slow turret rotation.

Warspite is really good at this.  By focusing on a point midway between the two targets and offsetting your reloads and aims,  it's actually quite possible to cause serious harm to two targets at almost the same time.

The tricky bit is then engaging a third with the secondaries  :hiding:

Ships with wing turrets like the Kawachi you can do this also, if you strategize and take advantage of her strengths.
