I was just in that match with you. No one could ever point to a post with any WG employee calling it an official exploit. And i'm on here enough that i think i would have noticed the posts about it. haha. 

 

I do think it needs to be addressed. But it needs to be addressed in game mechanics. There cant be a ban for something that is currently built into the game. Everyone has hit the border at least once. So everyone is a 'sploter. Lets ban them all!

I'm personally for a soft border that lets you turn around on your own. If you stay out longer than a set time period, the game will auto-pilot you back into the map.

border spamming is very easily countered. some people think it makes you harder to hit but really it makes it easier if you know how to counter it. Just came up with a way 2 days ago that makes it easier to kill ppl on the border than those in open ocean alone

I do not see the issue with it. I believe it should be like hitting an island. Complete stop and damage and will also give off the warning marker like islands when approaching it.

Let's punish people who use the exploit instead of fixing the cause of the exploit by moving the line that forces shells to arc back 200 meters.

 

I've probably done it several times mistakenly by just rising the edge of the map to minimize the chance of being spotted.I'd rather not have to stay a kilometer away from it because I die if I need to turn into or near an arbitrary line.
