Don't have time to translate everything now but some interesting bulletpoints.

- As of OBT, game is approx 85% done.
- Pre-order packages sold most in Japan out of SEA
- Games would have lasted 10 hours if it wasn't compressed to 20min  Noticed players got bored after 20-30 battles in early Alpha
- USSR, Germany, and UK premiums will come first, then the trees
- Subs are not totally ruled out.  They first want to split things like CL/CA, and torpedo equipped Battleships into separate classes.  Subs are part of the big picture of that class realignment
- Weather effects like wind, waves, storms, and fog that will affect ship handling will hope to be implemented after release, inlcuding Night battle
- Considering releasing on other platforms like Xbox and mobile as well
- WoTxGuP turned out to be a mod, but WoWSxArpeggio they're hoping for special skins, ships, and characters in-game

so that is how they will split BB lines. interesting. ask if that info sound quiet good for future updates. torpedo armed cruisers and BB will have an interesting place in night and fog battles since getting close would be more possible

  • General graphics improves and loading screens
  • Development of destroyed ship models such as fire, parts falling off, etc
  • Talk of how they design the in game models, the use of real ships like the Aurora.
  • Prototype ships like the Yamoto and Montana are based off of blue prints they could find.

 

Long time since I've looked at Japanese.

 

They also speak about the development of new ships. They will develope, like Jinxed said, premies first, then they will come out with trees as they develop rather than pushing a fully developed tree out. They are focusing on spliting the trees in to further classifications of ships IE light cruisers, heavy cruisers, battleships, torpedo battleships etc.

Pretty sure these have been worked on and are close to implementation. Kinda like how Bismarck has been in the gaming files for some time now...WG business model is to draw these things out for two reasons... keep the carrot tasty and give the devs time to add more spice to the carrot later on, so they always have something on deck for the consumer lol

I know I am in the minority, but if done correctly, I think subs would be a wonderful addition, and create more varied game play.

 

Night battles? Sea effects? Yay!

 

Do we have any idea what a Russian T6-8 premium BB might be?

If they do put subs in the game, they can have two new lines in the game patrol frigates and destroyer escorts.  Put the Bouge/Casablanca in that line with radar equipped TBM's to hunt subs.  

 

The torp equipped BB's will be interesting. You think the US DD's have short range torps, wait till you see the BB's.

I really don't think they have a place.  I mean we already have everyone and their brother complaining about invisible DDs so the QQ on subs will be a nightmare.  Also you would have to insure that the DD population was much much higher, perhaps making up half the team in order to insure a proper anit-sub screen.

blue amounts to the second confirmation about some BBs having torps --- remember Mikasa

Not too sure how I feel about the possibility of subs being included in the game since they're likely going to be an absolute nightmare to balance. I'm really excited about the rest, though. Particularly the new weather effects.

 

Also, new premiums! Yay! I've got my fingers, toes and all other crossable appendages crossed for the Prince of Wales.

Not really. Subs take ages to travel anywhere. If they manage to get to points of interest on the map, sure: they can possibly be a nightmare to deal with, depending on how ASW is balanced.

Well we know they already have at least one tool in game that improve detection underwater (at the moment, only for detecting incoming torpedoes). And it would make destroyers feel more loved. To help with torpedo defense, they should allow AA guns that are automatic (machine guns and small fast firing cannons) to try to blow up incoming torpedoes. (unless that wasn't a thing the navies did in real life that I didn't know about?)
