DB Manual Drop

Does anyone use this?

 

Before the wipe, I'd always just positioned DBs to attack from the front and let them autodrop.  Anyone do any different?

DB's to be honest SUCKS. They do need a total rework.

Can think of a few people I've talked to who use manual drop on DB most said it wasn't worth it.

If you can pull it off, you can get 3 hits with a single IJN bomber. It just takes so much time to pull it off because they have such a large entry point.

it's not the DB's suck.. it's just that Torps dropped 3 feet off the side of a BB are LOLeasy.

Seems pointless for US DB then auto normally gives me 2/3 hits unless it doesn't which seems kinda rare most of the time.

 I get 3 hits per strike vs 1 hit on auto (if), problem is lack of bomb choice see AP vs HE and negligible damage, now on occasion I have killed DDs that were already damaged by setting them on fire but hitting a DD on manual  (or auto for that matter ) is like playing lotto. So unless all you have is DBs it does not pay to spend time and effort on them.

Db s are good vs destroyers. In my exp. auto, fire and forget usually get atleast 1 hit which is a hard hit on a destroyer
