USS Midway/ Tier X Carrier IRL

I happened to visit the USS Midway CV-41, the upcoming Tier X CV for the USN yesterday. Coincidentally, the Battle of Midway was taking place at this time 73 years ago. I only realized that when I noticed that the museum staff were in the process of preparing for an event. Here are some pictures that I took as I looked around the ship.

Dont think we will get the F-8 Crusader in game but that is a beautiful aircraft. Last Of the gunfighters.

My Grandfather served on the Midway,in my profile pic,thats him with his navy coat and USS Midway patch.

 

I decommissioned the Midway at PSNS Bremerton.An honor I will never forget.
