I have noticed that some players are able to consistently get really high XP numbers per battle as an average. While there is no doubt as to their excellent play it does not account for just how much higher they seem to average. 1,500+ per battle.

 

So what is the secret? Using nothing but Elite Warships? What? Other than being a good player that is. Of course.

Doing objectives capping nodes, killing ship and just general doing damage to the enemy

I get that...Really I do but there are also multipliers in the game. When I look at players stats and their hits etc are pretty close to mine but I am getting 550 XP while they are getting 1700 I know there is some fundamental thing I am missing here. Do the daily missions make a big difference for the rest of the days scores or maybe the what is it 1.5 X or 2X multiplier an elite ship gives you. That's what I am wondering.

After doing consistent 1700+xp games, the doubles make mine average out around ~1900. Really the only thing i can tell you is to do the best you possibly can and then strive to do better. Be critical of yourself.

There was a x5 weekend or day I believe. People got tons of screenies of them doing high amounts of damage.

 You are rewarded for performance. If others are rewarded more... they likely contributed more. Also, when you contribute heavily, you are rewarded with "High Caliber" and "Confederate" These medals can give you flags (10 Flags per day) that you can mount on your ships for increased XP income(+50%). 

You want more rewards. But on your account I see around 11k damage per match, and for every time you die, you only manage to sink 0.54 enemy ships.... try living longer, shooting(Hitting/Sinking) more, and bring that 0.54 closer to a 1.0 so you know you're at least holding your own. Then start looking at what you can get for rewards... learn to crawl before running friend.

Stay alive and accomplish multiple objectives. Here's an example of a game I had last night -- note all the varied things I did in it beyond simply sinking ships:

are you playing Vs or Co-op? just asking because Co-op gives very little XP .

I Moved to PvP a while back and that made a HUGE difference. However I answered my question tonight. The secret is using Elite rated ships. You get 2X the XP and sometimes better. I am now getting 1500 XP even in games where I might get just one ship....Use Elite ships....
