Montana for its Looks and Size, I've always admired it.

That anti-air rating too...  I always loved the appearance of large battleships stuffed full of AA armaments.

As for the topic, I've always really respected the Colorado.

My favorite American BBs are predreadnoughts, though I really like the Nevadas, which, sadly, didn't make the cut (that interesting turret arrangement = win). Of the ships in the game, I daresay I prefer North Carolina above anything else.

New York.

It's all about the New York.

Iowa, because it's a good compromise between firepower, protection and mobility.

It also, unlike the mid tier US BBs, is not utterly worthless compared to its IJN counterpart due to asinine ahistorical range, ahistorically bad AA, etc. stacking with historical mobility.

USS Iowa. Speed. AA. Also, Wargaming has a Mutlimedia room in the USS Iowa with 8 LCD screens mounted on the bulkhead showing this:

In the PT, the USS North Carolina was my favorite.

From what i've been reading in here, confirming my own experiences so far, I dont like any of them. WG needs to scrap what they've got and start over. Pretty models do not make a good game..

Fairly certain that many of the posts mention their pros as a vessel in the USN tree here, like their noticeable improved AA. Wargaming will not scrap this game.

Their noticeably improved AA isn't noticeable until tier 8.

Low to mid-tiers, your trading speed and gun range for armor and turning radius. AA improved with the Colorado though that the only thing going for it.

I'm currently grinding Colorado and its a downgrade from the New Mexico.

The armor is pretty much identical and the IJN ships generally have more health.

I'm playing both nations BB's and low to mid-tier American BB's feel like they can take more punishment then there IJN counterparts, :honoring:

I don't feel this at all. Besides, whatever negligible (potential) advantage you gain on the swings is more than lost on the roundabouts -- IJN battleships don't generally have to engage 3-4 cruisers at once.
