As much as most Texans would hate it.  There is no Texas class battleship.  There's just a New York class ship named the Texas.

They still won't understand that though.

New York has a better name.

Plus it sounds new and modern, progressive.

You all are just jealous that we kept our dreadnought. :B

Not everyone has caught up to the concept of recycling facilities, all good.

Actually the Texas was commissioned before the New York by almost a year due to delays. In Siegfried Breyer's Battleships and Battlecruisers he actually refers to the New York class as the Texas Class. The Texas was laid down, completed, and commissioned well in advance of the New York. The New York was only ordered before the Texas. The New York class should be more correctly called the Texas Class. :P

Incorrect, Congress authorized the New York to be built first.  It doesn't matter in America what was laid down or launched or commissioned first.  What matters, is what ship Congress authorized first,  Congress makes law.  There are other examples, such as the Colorado class.

Yes, your exactly right. It's merely that I'm a Texan and am honor-bound to make this state (and by extension her namesake BB) out to be larger than life, even more than she already is. :)

Having lived in Texas, and in a state adjacent to New York, I can say without reserve that New York is superior, even if its tax structure and overall politics are a heinous affront to civilization. Texas is an enormous, empty, boring place, though it probably boasts better food than NY.

Living in South Carolina and having relatives that live in North Carolina, I can confirm that South Carolina is most assuredly better in every way ever in a most serious factor indeed.

Therefor, I hereby request the South Carolina and North Carolina classes have their tiers switched in-game to reflect their scientifically confirmed superiority and inferiority of their real life counterparts.

North Carolina has better mountains. Mountains are an important -- nigh, paramount -- factor.

If mountains are so important, why is Colorado so underpowered then!

Yeah, I went there.

(even I think the Colorado is underpowered, rip)

Texas has the same, but ours are better and cost less, plus we are bigger than Kalifornia.
