Convertible Free Experience

So I've been going through the forums and have heard a rumour that free XP will be convertible between WoT, WoWS, and WoWP. However I have one question. Will it be free to convert XP or will you have to pay (money or gold) to convert it or will you be able to use free XP earned in one game (e.g. WoT) in the other games (e.g. WoWS and WoWP) without having to convert it.

 

If anyone could answer this for me that would be great :)

They've mentioned a "transfer" functionality, but not much more than that.  That may be a question worth putting in the Q&A, but it sounds, from previous answers, like the Devs don't have a lot of details on that process just yet.

I haven't played WoWPs so pardon my ignorance, but is there anything that can transfer between WoT and WoWP?

Not at this time AFAIK. It is still in closed beta so this could/will change on release.

I'm in the WoWP closed beta and without going into any detail since there's still an NDA, I'll say that it seems to me they intend to have gold completely transferable between games.  Not even really transferable, but more of a unified total that you see in each of your games.  I've heard rumor that free xp is intended to be the same way - but I've not seen any dev confirm that.

Credits will not be transferable. So far they have only hinted at free xp and gold.

Azumazi is correct. No plans as far as we know to make credits transferable. However, free XP could potentially make the grinds easier. Some players have already started saving up.

Yeah I did as well, I had 150k of it, and now only 20k left...

 

So I just tell myself that when WoWS's comes out I can spend time in my tier 8 premium from the bonus package and just convert it out with the 25k gold :P

Most likely you will have to convert it with gold like in WoT, especially since the accounts are all linked and shared. If it is shared then why would someone spend gold on WoT when they can convert it from WoWS for free?

Like trojankv said above I too am not sure if free XP will be 'united' nor have I heard devs saying anything. Just rumors.

Azumazi 25k gold won't get you tier 10.
When the B.Chat155 first came out I spend $150 bucks...only to have it reduced to nothing patches later. Frustrating how you spent this money and then they make it not worth it  :sad:
Although I plan on getting that package too, wish I had done the same when I had the chance to buy the M6A2E1 in WoT. Had I realized I would have spent thousands on here I would have bought it, and I missed my second chance last yea (2011-12) when they offered it in the gift shop.

Most likely you wont be able to actually convert the XP between games. I think WG intends to have one big pool of free XP so the 25k free XP you have in WoT is directly trasfered between all three games. You still have to convert regular XP to free XP with gold.

Don't need to get to tier 10, just to a tier I want, and that will most likely be 8 and from there work up my main crew. Best part is, if I am lucky, the tier 8 premium will be a ship class and nation I plan on using a lot so I can also spend time training up that crew, have myself a 100% 2 skill crew by time they get to move into that upgraded tier 8 and bam, it's go time.

Also I should mention, I already have a cache of gold on my WoT account, so 25k is just adding to the pile :)

Never waste gold on a fotm tank/plane/warship. Give it a couple of patches for the nerfs to hit.

Wish I picked up a Lowe when it was still cheap.  I've been stingy with gold.  Too easy to spend a lot needlessly in this game.  Having wife, kids, and other hobbies does take away a lot of free income
