Checkout the FAQ before making a topic or answering one.

• Ship types are; Carriers, Battleships, Cruisers, and destroyers. With also the associated classes of them as well. NO PT Boats, NO SUBs.
  
• No the enterprise class WILL NOT be in game, if you mean the USS enterprise(Big E) then yes the Yorktown class carrier will be in game.

This the enterprise class super carrier... Not going to be in game...

• Again no PT boats, and it was not just the US and Japan that had them...

Aircraft carrier: Faster then most ships, has to not only engage enemy ships with Aircraft, but Also provide cover for the fleet against enemy Aircraft with fighters, AND are your scouts with Aircraft.

Destroyers: Can provide your AA as they are incredibly hard to hit with Aircraft, but also have massive derp guns in the form of many torpedoes. Their guns make them the closet thing to arty often having the largest range, but in saying this they lack the maneuverability to doge fire reliably, and at your max ranges you will be firing well before your shells reach the target so a huge amount of lead is needed.

Subs: NOT IN GAME.They go so slow underwater that the cannot reach the enemy ships in time. Torpedoes are short ranged in order to be accurate and cannot scout as periscope has a very limited view range. And Aircraft are able to spot them well before they get anywhere near attack depth.

Cruisers(Which you forgot); These are your multirole ships. Often carrying scout planes as well as decent sized guns and many of them as well as the occasional torpedo, normally lacking in armor protection, but enough to withstand destroyer guns and larger secondary batteries.


If you are going to answer then please have some idea of what you are talking about. First off; tank classes =/= Warship classes

My already bad mood has just been made worse by the existance of this thread.

 

The Enterprise Class carrier is a nuclear powered aircraft carrier that was recently decomissioned. She was the first and only carrier of her class and beyond the scope of this game. Now I assume you are refering to CV-6 Enterprise which served in World War II. If that is true then you should know that Enterprise was a Yorktown Class aircracft carrier and the second one built, the only one to survive the war. The Yorktown class will most likely be ingame.
