Hello everyone, Today I will teach you guys how to make/create your very own Video login mod out of any video you like or love.

Sample video

So let start with small list of programs you will/might be needing

1. Scaleform VideoEncoder (used to create/make Usm video files) (Important, you need this program)Download<16mb

2. A program that you can use to download videos from youtube, in this case I use "4k Video Downloader". Very simple program to use, you can download both video and audio using it. (This program is optional)

3. You need a program to create wav audio files. You can use http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wav for online converting if you like. But I use Ffmpeg  for all of my converting (even use it to make quick gifs from any video)

(Ffmpeg is optional, you can just use the online one if you like)

4. Now you need a program that allow you to convert video files to .Avi format (Do not use "Freemake Video Converter" to create avi files[scaleform will not read it], But you can use it to cut/chop up your video into parts and combined them). For my converting, I use "YTD Video Downloader"(it had a nice convert to .avi option, very useful)

Ok, now let move on how to create your own Video login

Step 1: Download and unzip "Scaleform Videocoder" (to create Usm file, Video need to be in Avi video format and Audio need to be in Wav audio format)

Step 2: Find a video that you like or want to use for your video. You can use "4k Video Downloader" to download videos from Youtube.com (try to download both video and audio(didn't download audio? that ok, will get around to it)

Step 3: Next step is to convert your video into Avi video format. If you already have a program that you can do this with, that good.

If not, Download YTD Video Downloader. Open YTD and click on "Convert". Select your video file and pick Avi for "convert video to". When you done, hit Convert Video. Simple

Step 4: If you have downloaded the audio with 4k video downloader, then you can go straight to http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wavto convert your audio to wav format.

If you haven't, You can use Ffmpeg to get audio from your video.

Step 5: When you have both Avi and Wav file ready to go.

Step 6: Rename your new .Usm file you just created to "login.usm". Then move it to c:/games/worldofwarships/res_mods/(current game version)/gui/video

Hope you'll enjoy this guide.

Oh, and don't forget to turn your music off in game settings to hear your new video mod

Kinda necro-y bump here but I would love to see video login screens added to WoT in the future, as the one in OP would honestly be a perfect example of one that fits really well.

Hate to say this but, that YTD Downloader is instantly removed from my system during download and reported as Unsafe!. Is there a different/better program to use?

yes you can delete the readme, it jst a text file that letting you know this is where you install your mods

Same as Daisy. Followed everything and game music is set to 0, yet login video plays but not the .wav file. This no longer work how it used to? Both files separately work but combined into the .usm and in-game, only video works. Will look around for other guides but this was at least a great starting point

-Edit- Sound issue seems to be because of 5.2.1

Has there been anyone else trying this lately? I made a new login video but there's still no audio

Is there some other way to go about it, or do we just not get that option any more?

I have the same bug as the previous guys, but i think these files have to see with something:

sound_music.idx

sound_music_0001.pkg

sound_music_0002.pkg

sound_music_0003.pkg

Directory: World_of_Warships\res_packages
