They were told how badly they'd f***ed up in this regard for the British battlecruisers, and they changed tack this time around. You can't say they never listen. Well done, WG. It takes 150,000 fxp and 3600 community token to get T8 bonus package. However I estimate the research cost for the T9 ship should be somewhere around 218000 (estimate based on Pan Asian Sejong). Hey WG, if I whale 150,000 fxp and 3600 community token for just a bonus package why don't I spend ~70000 more to skip the ship to T9. I will definitely grind more to cover up the cost for bonus rather than a faster way to finish grinding the ship. Of cause if I am going to play that T8 ship a lot I will most likely benefit from it. I'll probably be flipping between Furutaka, Yahagi, and Agano alot this week to see how they compare. I don't really have that much a desire to whale this event. Still, kudos to WG for realizing that the nerfing of the economic rewards from the UK CC event wasn’t going to fly. Offering up the truly free tier VII bonus package (in place of the old tier VII camo w/bonuses players had come to expect) was the right call. They won't change it, i don't they ever did on any other missions for upcoming ships in the past, that people thought were too hard or undoable. Don't see much reason to use the Japanese tokens on the perma bonus package for it. Seeing as the ships don't look all that interesting to begin with.
