How to post a vid

Happy St. Patrick's day people.

 

I see alot of people here are posting vids from YouTube and such. I've tried to post vids myself but I've been having no luck other than merely posting a link. How do I go posting videos on here?

Add close brackets though. Put the link of the video between the tags.

just copy and paste the URL, worked for me.

When at the youtube video click at "Share" then you just copy the link it give you there into the post, no need for any "media" like Andypandy said.

Sorry gentlemen, still doesn't work. It just keeps posting the link, and not the vid itself.

Dammit. I managed to get it to work in the post field, but when I click "Post" it does that blank white line instead. Almost there.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it helps to use the shortened youtube link. Sometimes you just have to try and post it a few times.

For me it just works to post the link. Do you use chrome?

What Vid are you trying to post up? Tell us what to search and im sure one of us can find a way to get it working for you.

Deadly. I use Internet Explorer. It's just wierd, the vid shows up and plays just fine in the reply to topic field where you write your post, but then doesn't work when I post my reply.

 

Crag. There's no specific vid I'm trying to post from Youtube. People post alot of vids here and I'd like to do that also. If you want, the last vid I tried to post was End of my Journey by John Dreamer.

Strange, maybe try using Chrome? IE can do some strange stuff...

If you are going to post a Youtube video, scroll down to the 'Share' button to generate a forum-friendly link.  This has worked for me time and time again.

Well son of a [edited]. It finally worked. I did it your way Crag, and it worked just fine. Now I can post vids.
