30 C is not even 90 F.......... We would turn off the window units if temperatures were that low and just run fans....   Eat more hot peppers. Keeps your body cooler when it is actually hot outside. How do you think Mexicans and Texans lived in these part before the invention of air conditioning?

Mexicans usually took breaks during the hottest parts of the day. Im pretty sure that is what siesta means.

Many civilizations/cultures did this and some still do.

August was blissfully cool compared to June and July.  Heck, we were in the low 90's with some days of low-ish humidity!  And RAIN!  August is usually an airborne swamp.

September has brought rain and LOW 80's!  It almost makes me want to break out the cinnamon spice and Christmas decorations.

It September 2 and it is 30 degrees Celsius. I know that in other places it is worse.

Here in the middle of the US, we've had a pretty hot summer. Though not as hot as some, it's still up there as one of the hotter ones. We've had at least 30 days this summer where it got over 100 F. The saving grace is that it's high and dry here so the nights usually get down into the 60s and the mornings, at least, are usually nice.

Britain was scorching hot this summer.

River Rhine in Germany has gone down considerably.

Same thing in France with the Loire.

One example in the US.

There's bits out there of even the large Yangtze River in China has gone down.

It's been hot out in California.  We've broken triple digits here in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we're considered to have cooler weather here in this part of the state than in Southern California.

---

Sacramento, CA is projecting 111 degrees F on September 5.
