I just got two of them, or so it says...   I'm guessing the FBI came and confiscated the second one before i jumped to my container screen.

You had 3containers.

You are on open SC, that's why you get the impression of 2 SC...

What maths did you do at school?

O.P. put in a ticket with the screen shot.

Sorry, was on my phone and didn't see lower right part of image.

I definitely would send in a support ticket with screenshots.

Obviously he earned 2 containers that the system collected for him.

Could be he got 2 containers automatically and 1 was a SC, but the image clearly shows 2 SC...

I'd submit ticket with screenshots.

Yeah, but that's not the image of a SC; it's More Coal.

Something is wrong there.   Support ticket required.

So i contacted WG about it and they responded that due to my mods (mod station)  that the box said X2 when it really ment X1.     Don't know if i should buy that but what are you going to do?     I must say though, the last 3 tickets i have submitted they have been unable or unwilling to help me in the least (not that i ask for anything) or such as in this case, came to the lest beneficial conclusion for the customer.    Almost feels like customer support in name only and really just a ticket closing service.

If you're running mods, you really can't expect them to do anything.  You're talking about what is essentially a different game.  Otoh, I wonder what mod could cause this?  It's a pain, but on a bug like this, you might should uninstall mods and see if that fixes it.

But the mods are APPROVED by WG.

Thus WG has a responsibility to ensure they do not negatively interfere with their game.

As O.P. wrote, WG is just being its normal self in regards to player support. There is no money in it, so they do not want to do too much.

They are approved to not break the rules, not to work.  Mods are independent creations.  WG can't be expected to take responsibility for them.  Think of all the testing required to vet the 100+ mods at each release.  No, you use mods at your own risk.

If I had a guess, I think the "Collected Automatically" is the standout.

You'll be automatically given Daily containers if you earned enough XP for them but don't actually go through the process of collecting them during that day.  The first Daily Container received could have been a Supercontainer because Supercontainers replace Daily Containers once you've reached the milestone point where you are awarded on.  The second would be your normal container choice which is likely "More Coal".

image.png

My Theoretical Order of Events:

  1. Player played the game and earned 2 Daily Containers worth of XP.
  2. Player logged out without collecting the Daily Containers.
  3. Player logs in and see "Collected Automatically (Date)"
    • Client issues commonly chosen container type "More Coal" x 2.
      • Actually received:
        1. SuperContainer (displays in message as was first container issued)
        2. More Coal

That's my guess at what happened.

Sounds good to me!

Auto-collected containers have long been random among the Standard types (except TYL).  Are you suggesting that the algorithm remembers your most-selected type now?

You got the chance to choose one of three containers.

SORRY!

My bad. I was referring to a different thing. Disregard my post

looking at the image again:

It also shows Camos and an Econ Bonus added after the container was collected.

So based on the notifications:

1. Container was collected

2. Oil obtained (from getting the container)

3. Addition (of what?)

4. 2 Camos and an Econ Bonus added

So is it possible he opened a super container without realizing he did so?

SCs drop only one item.  If he opened anything, it would have to have been a More Camo crate to deliver those additions.

So when i jumped on that day,  i saw the 2 supercontainer popup come up.  SO i went to the container ship.   Since i commonly seem to get containers out of the blue even when i collect all my containers the previous day.  And the fact that i'm pretty much exclusively choosing try your luck to see how many containers it takes on average to get a supercontainer (yes i know there is a video on this);  I just clear out any boxes that are not small try your lucks.  well the first one that came up was a flag box and i opened it.   Then i went into the view my containers section pictured.    Now as WG would probably say, i just got the previous days containers that i failed to collect.   I feel like I was pretty good at collecting my containers leading up to said event but as always in WG favor, i can't say i was positive.   Although that does not account for the many times i do receive containers upon logging on.  Sometimes they might be daily log on containers which actually thinking about it, the flags container might have been.

On average, 100/4.5 or 22.22 TYLs to get an SC.  That falls out of the algorithm.  Empirical approximation no longer required.

Are you sure it's not your clan dropping crates on you?

I know when i was doing the supercontainer countdown last year it was pretty consistently in the 30's.

Apparently the TYL containers were buffed.  Better contents and a better effective drop percentage.  Over hundreds of crates, it was 3–3.5% drop rate, corresponding to an SC about every 30 or so.  Now it's 4.5%.  A little odd that the changes weren't announced.
