submarines/torpedo boats

sorry i have so many questions devs but will there be subs/ also will there be torpedo boats for example the us pt boat

Wow.  Hostility.  We forum readers are not truly its guardians.  We don't need to take offense when someone doesn't read the other threads, even though there are dozens of them related to the same topic posted here.  Try to remember that you don't have to use a flamethrower to drive away mosquitoes.

I was shocked when they said DD's would be going to tier 10, however now that we know a little more I can see it....sorta.

 

PT boats on the other hand.....no way.   They would be like putting people with Bazookas in World of Tanks.  (no).   PT boats are patrol and shore defense, this is full surface action. You only get to control 1 ship and you only bring 1 ship, a PT boat is just that a boat.  Now, if they incorporated ships like the Shinsu Maru,  Foundre, or the Vulcan,  then yes.....PT boats.  

 

 

These ships acted like motherships for smaller boats,  I'd assume they would then operate AI torpedo boats, but again they'd be of limited use since all surface ships would be able to destory the torpedo boats.  A regular CV with torp bombers would be more effective.
