IS THIS GOING TO BE LIKE NAVYFIELD ???

I'm not trying to be rude. I am a great fan of World of Tanks ,but WoWP was similar (more than just similar) to Dogfight in Miniclip. I'm not sure if many people had noticed this. But when i read the news about WoWp gameplay and when i played closed beta i found it bad(was something like dogfight with better graphics and better interface whatsoever technically  :Smile_sceptic: ). And i would like to know that if this game would be one exact replica of NavyField. Coz i hate navyfield for its game logic and game build. I love WoT for its ossum tech tree and game logic. If WG devs are planning to create a game like NAVYFIELD( Im not trying to insult or make things look bad) please just take the tech tree from there and add more ships. I would like the design to be more user-friendly (similar to WoT) because i had one hell of a time figuring out Navyfield's design when i started playing it (More of a noob back then). This is my first post on any forums (in my life) . :Smile_glasses:

I hope it wont be like NF even though I did enjoy playing it.  I don't play nearly as much anymore because it freezes everytime I try and play it (I have Win8 pro - but noticed it when I used Win 7 pro too).

 

I just wish they'd hurry up and let us apply for Alpha testing...

Welcome to the forums, i also tried navyfield and did not play for very long, i agree the interface could have been much better and more simple. i hope that this game does not resemble NF in the least aside from ships on water ;)

Well, WoWs will be different from NF in quite a few ways. WoWs will actually be in 3D instead of the so-called "3D" that NF had promised for years. Matchmaking won't be perfect but I predict it will at least be better than the lopsided team balancing in NF, though I suspected hacking was a factor too.

Well..NavyField was fun...but when you see the screenshots of World of Warships you can tell that this game will probably blow it out of the water.

There will be ships. There will be upgrades of various types for these ships. The ships will have a crew of some kind. They will have various kinds of weaponry and ammunition for said weaponry. There will be maps and the ships of players will be deployed onto these maps for battles.

 

Yes, this will be exactly like Navyfield.

I might be wrong here but im not exactly sure thats what they meant by it being like navyfield.  I even played navyfield a little and as it was an alright game.  But it was nothing to compare what WG has accomplished in WoT and WoWP and im sure that WoWS is going to be amazing.  maybe its just me but I think that newer games of today have to raise the bar for graphics and WG has done that.  I think they are doing an outstanding job with their games (dont think anyone is disagreeing with me) but to compare WoWS with Navyfield is like comparing the ps3 to ps1
