Our Shimakazes, Zao, and Fletcher were just spamming torps hoping to land one on the unseen red Fletcher.

You are right...I don't think any of those hit anything.

The one's that we still see sure didn't.

What we are seeing here is the "torpedo trap" glitch that retains the visual representation of long-range torpedoes just beyond the map border. It's happened as long as I can remember.

While I have seen that happen many times, that was not the case in this screenshot.  We just had 4 torpedo ships spamming torps trying to hit an unseen red DD.  All of those torps are still within their ranges.

Reminds me when I ran a double TRB Shiratsuyu with an Akatsuki division and we all decided to dump all our torps in the direction of an enemy Alaska sitting in B cap.

He did not have fun.
