Poll: Port Camera Position

(very silly, minor question):
I'm not sure why exactly, but EVERY time I'm in port, I zoom out the camera and adjust the view of my ship. After a bit, the game pushes the view in back to default.

Q: Is there a way to get the custom view to stay put... or is there a way to save the camera position (if not, can we submit suggestions to WG)?

There's no way that I know of - the camera repositioning has been an irritation for many years.

Personally I wish they had a free camera in port by default. I should be able to look at and admire the port and the ship, from whatever angle I want while in port. And as close as I want, instead the camera kicking me away if I get too close.

This!! There are work done on the different ports, it's a shame so much of it can't be seen.
