It was taking me about 45 seconds to log in. After patch 11.0 dropped, it's now taking me two minutes to log in to the game. Is anyone else experiencing this? 2 mins is normal here 1 min Game loading 1 min Log IN Total 3 min tops... On the first day of the patch, it was a %50 increase to 5 min... No, it's not, but it's definitely getting annoying. A lot of times, I'll try to get a game in before I go to work. It may be the only game I get to play that day. One game is a maximum of 20 minutes, so this bug is now 10% of my total play time, more if the game ends early. Something is going on, and WG should look into it. In that game, we had a network engineer come in and explain to us the long chain where you're really logging into one system after another, and going through all those systems is what takes so long. I have been using a stopwatch, because I'd like to know what's going on, and figure out what exactly is causing it. I can see that you're not bothered by the load time - great, congratulations - but if I can help figure out how to get it to go away, then I'm going to consider that a win for everyone. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers last night, and the logon has gone back to ~45 seconds for 2 tries. To kinda point out the silliness the log in is taken - in another thread - a person noted a HUGE increase in log in time.... The different was 12 seconds added. 12 seconds and that was all. Maybe I have gotten better at my expectations as I got past 50 years old. As an IT person and building my own PCs for years - I have no idea how video drivers can even affect login for anything - it makes zero sense. I would bet it has far more to do with individual hardware more than anything else since it is not affecting everyone equally. Prepar3d used to take 5-6 minutes just to start up. But WOWS didn’t. All of us that started experiencing this had it happen at the same time, right after a patch dropped. Because it doesn’t affect everyone the same, I would agree with you that it probably has to do with some mix of hardware. If people can post what they have, we may be able to find some commonalities.
