No cause it would be taking away Moderator and above ranks ability to see what has offended or caused a fight.

They can to start off with when making the topic but thats it.

OP if you want topics deleted, edit and remove content and change the title to something like "please delete"

If I made a thread that made a fool out of myself.  I would say to myself that I should've known better.  :Smile_honoring:

Maybe, but that is only reserved for the Moderators and above to decide not us.

As others have said it would allow people to dispose of incriminating evidence or people could just keep creating and deleting topics to increase their post count.

Suggestion section next time please. ;)

Most forums do not have this fyi. And you shouldn't. Because people may have said things on there or the maker themselves that need to be seen by an administrator. And don't mess up next time if you made a bad thread. You can also delete your main post and put in something like "pleass delete or close this thread." And they may do so depending on what is there. Not just what you said but others too.

Also what I said is mostly based off of other forums. I am just saying what is most probable.

Yep. Until we can begin the Animal Farm-style revolution against the mods I've mentioned, we're stuck having to ask for threads to be deleted. Which isn't a problem. I make very few threads, and when I do they don't need to be deleted

I think the moral of the story is to think before posting a new topic  :Smile_hiding:

Be careful Crag. Saying stuff like that'll get you accused of being a witch (or Wizard if you prefer. I'll warn you, if you chose wizard I'm calling you Snape) in these parts, and they might try to burn you at the stake

An Australian style BBQ might be fun. Anyone got the lobsters?

Agreed. Don't mess up and there won't be a need to delete it.

We could use the afterburners from his plane to cook it
