Am I alon in feeling the TBY is a downgrade from the devastator? -2600 torp dmg seems like a big hit for an "upgrade"

You trade damage of torps for speed and hp of the air squad

do you know how many devestators retrned from midway???? 3 in one squadron, 2 in another, none int he third. out of 15 planes per squadron. the avenegr had only one come back, but theyre were only 6, so exeptions must be made, and it went on to be extremely successful. if thats not an upgrade i dont know what is. oh, and the avenger that came back ahd over 1,000 holes in it
