What if there were to be a battleship designed today?

I think this is the proper place for this question.

 

I'm wondering what people speculate a newly designed battlship would be like.

 

I suppose it would have many radar controlled anti-missile gatling guns, top notch radar, an array of missiles in it's armament, The latest heavy armor, and so on.

 

Do you think it would have big guns though? Unlike the cruisers and destroyers with their smaller guns today? What would make it a battleship, rather than a cruiser?

 

I'm wondering if a modern battleship would be useful, though appears cost ineffective. Like is there armor that could repel a anti-ship missile?

 

So, anyone have speculation, or know of a place where this has been speculated?
