Being an occasional jazz enthusiast, the tune was a great sound.

Just about the time I lost interest,  I suddenly found an interesting swing....

(Written by Louis Prima.) "On July 6, 1937, "Sing, Sing, Sing" was recorded in Hollywood with Benny Goodman on clarinet; Harry James, Ziggy Elman, and Chris Griffin on trumpets; Red Ballard and Murray McEachern on trombones; Hymie Schertzer and George Koenig on alto saxophones; Art Rollini and Vido Musso on tenor saxophone; Jess Stacy on piano; Allan Reuss on guitar; Harry Goodman on bass; and Gene Krupa on drums." This song set the Hepcats of the Big Band/Swing era (and ever since.) loose to dance to their hearts content!!!

This was part of the soundtrack to WWII, in the same way Hendrix, Creedence, and the Doors were to Vietnam. Funny how those young people in those old black and white photos were "jamming" to this while war raged. Good music is good music...

But...where are the swings?

Not even a porch swing was used in the making of this video...

That's just false advertising :-0 :Smile_hiding::Smile_trollface:

Attaboy points for spotting Buddy Ebsen.

And that Gene Kelly and Judy Garland clip!

Dancing!  The best use of disco.

Except, perhaps, in resurrecting the magic of the lost art of the movie musical.

I can't dance to save my soul, but good is good.
