Why are there so few irrevocable ranks in Bronze?

You've already made enough horrible decisions lately to enrage me, WG. Now this crap? Random battles alone already feel like a form of flagellation and now in ranked you're constantly punished if you get saddled with a team of potatoes?

It's BRONZE, WG. Fire your management team and find people who can make the game not completely frustrating to play.

Make the game fun again FFS and not so much of a painful slog.

You need a ship you can carry in, and carry well. 
Yes it can and will be challenging.
I am fortunate to have a Battleship that I love at that tier that I can carry with and can put a 21 point commander on. 
Also play first thing in the morning when ranked opens up, the people playing are less drunk then.

Have you perhaps ever considered that if you cannot advance in a large amount of battles, you simply do not deserve to?

Try posting a replay or two of your ranked matches.

Bronze can absolutely be chaotic, but that doesn't stop you from being able to make great choices and/or star save enough to climb out of it.

If you want to add them in a reply to me, I'll try to check them out and give feedback when I get home.

Ranked in this game is an absolute joke and the bottom 10% of the playerbase can make it into gold, but lets ignore that, assume ranked is about being good, and assume you are good enough to deserve to climb.

There are 7 slots per team.  You fill one of those slots.  So statistically speaking, there are only 6 slots on your team left up to chance to get useless dead weight, and 7 on the enemy team.  You will win more games than you will lose if you are better than your rating.  But if you're dead weight and can't climb yourself, it means you're a guaranteed dead weight slot and you only have 6 slots for players to carry you while the enemy team has 7 slots for players that can be better than you.

Bronze also has too many irrevocable ranks.  And I think the leagues being irrevocable is really stupid myself because you can be a bad player and go on a 10-15 game winstreak out of pure luck.  I typically have a 60% winrate in ranked and I've gone on 30 game loss streaks.  Yes this ranked system is flawed and I think the previous system was much better.  Luck happens, but skill will even you out.  Stop whining, and get good.
