I am getting a tier 6 or 7 or 8 ship. I like battleships, and I also need a ship that can grind me more base xp and credits.

Do not mind that I have low status I played on another account with a tier seven. I just started playing

Thanks

Good battleships at Tier 6 and 7 for credit grinding are:

T6 - Arizona

T7 - Scharnhorst

Both ships earn good credits in co-op and scenarios. They are fun and enjoyable to play, in addition to being good captain trainers.

Dunkerque (tier 6) is one of my favorite premiums to play.

how about 8 or 9?

at tier 8 roma or kii with their special camo which you need to buy separately are probably the best credits earn you can get now. at tier 9 with the secondary buff pommern is fun to play again

A bit of advice..

1st point,   I notice the 36 battles..  I assume you are talking about a premium ship for cash?       I'd give it a bit before making a choice.   You haven't played enough to know which type ship you really like.

2nd point   "Earning more base XP"   earning that on a premium does you no good unless you are willing to pay to convert it to XP you can use on any tech tree ship.

3rd..      Premium ships do earn more credits.. truthfully T8 premiums will earn more than lower tiers, but again you should play a while 1st..  jumping up in tiers really quickly takes some learning of a lot of new mechanics. poor performance in even a premium ship won't earn you a lot of anything.

take your time..  figure it out before you start spending a lot of money..  May save you from a purchase you later will regret.

Ok I will think about that

Premium time, if you don't have it already,  might be a better choice.  It's pretty inexpensive -  It makes grinding tech tree ships a lot lot quicker, so you can play more ships. and learn them...It also earns you more credits.   if you are a new player and on PC -  there should be some recruiting codes around that will give you a low tier premium ship and some free premium time and perks? check some of the popular gaming sites.. I'm sure there are some new player codes out there.     Probably will have to start over on a new account, but with only 36 games played.. shouldn't be much of a hassle to start again?   Welcome to the game!!!

Anyone on here using recruiting station, should message this player and shoot him a invite.

High and welcome to the forums. First off, I would highly recommend against buying a mid/ high tier premium ship especially if you intend to take into Random Battles. Playing against real players is an entirely different beast from playing against bots and you will be miserable as you you have virtually no experience. The second thing is that there is no "best" ship in the game as everyone has different playstyles and preferences. My advice would to grind out several lines to get a feel for the game and figure what ships you like to play. After that come back and give us that info and then we can help you out.

Also I don't know if you can still use this but here is my invite code which among other goodies gives you the Tier 6 Premium British battleship HMS Warspite though only after you've played a battle in a tier 6 ship.

^^^this is very good advice^^^

In my early days, I jumped on the Tirpitz bandwagon before I was ready for that level of play.  Without the experience (real play experience, not the in-game experience), there are simply way too many nuances to grasp when you jump ahead.  It takes time to expand one's horizons (literally and figuratively).  So take your time.  If you absolutely must get a high tier, stay to Co-op with it until you understand the nuances of the tier.

If you've got a good mastery of U.S. mid tiers 14 inchers, Arizona is a really good Premium.  Someone noted Scharn, which is also a very good ship, but be warned its use is very asymmetric.  Gotta understand that to make it work well.

If you must get a premium early Warspite is good for beginners if a little slow.

Thank you cheekywarship2018iRA6E, and Ultimate Newbie. This advice is helpful, and thank you very much. I can't get premium time since I am not allowed to buy things on games unless my birthday. But, its coming soon and I want a ship

Welcome to the forums.  :-)

You've been give a lot of good advice, already.

What I can add to the conversation is that playing in Scenario Operations, which are open to Tier-6 or Tier-7 ships (depending upon the Scenario Operation in question, but the the majority are for Tier-6) offer a chance to earn more credits & XP than a normal Co-op game and are a lot less "salty" than a Random Battle.

Here's a link to the wiki page for Scenario Operations.  https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Scenarios

Hmm.  I certainly understand the appeal of a ship on your birthday.  The other folks in the topic have made strong suggestions and given excellent advice.

I’m going to make a suggestion of my own, if you want a T6 BB you might look at Prinz Eitel Friedrich.  Especially if you stick to coop, the PEF is a good intro to German BBs and unlike almost all other BBs at her tier, she’s fast enough to keep up (mostly) with cruisers and DDs, so in addition to coop you can also give operations a try and not get left behind.  Anyway, welcome to the game and the forums.  Have fun and hope to see you out there.

If you insist then here are my recommendations, bear in my mind that the ships I'm recommending are made with you sticking mainly to coop and operations where things are much more forgiving. They may or may not be the best for Randoms.

Since you said you mainly play battleships I will stick to them.

Tier 6: The best premium battleship at Tier 6 is easily the Warspite with its 15 inch guns that are accurate and can overmatch the crucial 26mm plating found on Tier 6 or 7 ships. Prinz Eitel Fredrich is an alternative to Warspite, it better protected and faster but it's are much worse than Warspite's. IMO none of the other Tier 6s are really worth mentioning as they are either similar to these affirmations ships but in my opinion slightly worse or just bad like the Dunkerque.

Tier 7: There are a lot of good battleships at Tier 7 so I'll just go over the highlights.

Scharnhorst: Scharnhorst is one of the most unique battleships in the game as it has rather small caliber guns for a battleship, which entails worse damage and penetration but they reload much quicker (20 s vs the average 30 s), she also has torpdoes. Her armour scheme is very forgiving to mistakes.  She is an absolute blast in coop and while her star in Randoms has definitely fallen she can still put up a decent performance.

Hyuga: Hyuga is another interesting choice, she is a slow but relatively well armored and has pretty decent guns with a large barrel count and decent accuracy. But her main part feature is her main batter reload booster which allows her reload her guns in half the time it normally would for 15 seconds. Overall Hyuga is definitely one of the more interesting tier 7 battleships and does decent but I wouldn't say is top for either coop or Randoms.

Ashitaka: Ashitaka is the literal definition of a glass cannon, she has unprecedented amounts of firepower at tier 7 in the form of 10 16 inch guns with decent accuracy and good penetration. However, her protection is among the worst and any mistake will get you heavily punished.personally I wouldn't recommend her as her citadel weakness really makes difficult to play but it is something to consider if you are interested.

Tier 8: This is here the heavy hitters are.

Alabama: Alabama is just a solid battleship, she isn't the best at anything but is pretty at everything. The only thing to note that her shells take some time ton reach the target so aiming might be a bit difficult.

Kii: Kii is another solid a solid battleship that has access to torpedoes. Though she pays for this with a slight dip in main gun performance.

Tirpitz: Tirpitz is the original tier 8 premium battleship. Her star has definitely fallen in Randoms but she is still a hoot in coop. She was the first battleship in the game to be armed with torpedoes and running up up to a battleship with secondary blazing and shoving torps into them never gets old.

Tier 9: I hope you have your wallet ready because things are expensive.

Pommern: Pommern is basically a Tirpitz but bigger and has 4 more guns and is at tier 9. She is the queen of coop some would argue and can actually turn a profit in coop even without premium time. Her performance is Randoms is a bit lackluster as brawling at high tiers is rather difficult. She is also incredibly forgiving of mistakes.

Agir: Agir is a cruiser but actually performs in many ways like a battleship. She is basically a Sharnhorst at Tier 9 with slightly better main gun performance but much worse armor, she is a very solid ship in both coop and Randoms. She also takes up a cruiser slot.

I hope this helps, if I had to recommend a ship I would say Tirpitz closely followed by Scharnhorst. The reason is that both are relatively forgiving ships to play but they are both more importantly fun. Now your definition of fun in this game can vary some of the most fun you can have is getting up close and duking it out with enemy battleships. I put Tirpitz over Scharnhorst as Tirpitz is tier for tier stronger. Scharnhorst though has the benefit being able to be used in operations which once you learn can be a good way of earning xp and credits without having to deal with the frustrations of Random Battles. I didn't mention either Agir or Pommern as while both are fantastic ships (BTW if your are willing to spend that kind of money then the list will look like Pommern, Tirpitz, Agir, Scharnhorst) they can be earned for free in game. The process to get them for free isn't quick but if you play steadily, you can get them for free. One last reminder, I ranked these ships based off of their coop performance not their Random Battle performance.
