This Player: My Wallet is locked until further noticed.
We all know they aren't going to listen to a thing we say so I choose to speak with my Wallet.

This response is terrible because there is no real tangible signs of change we as the Community beg for.

Incredible that it took you that long to vacuum out any shred of sincerity or meaning from a simple PR statement. Empty words from empty people.

20+ community contributors leave the program and this is all that is come up with? We have invested time and money into this game at least a lot of us old guard Alpha and Beta testers have and others since. Make no mistake I am mad at this lacking statement made by Wargaming.

I feel that Wargaming needs to do the right thing and restore Missouri as a free xp  tier 9 ship permanently as was promised years ago.

Second thing give Littlewhitemouse the sackville camo that was designed over 16 months with Chobitsu.

Third thing come up with an actual plan and show it to us.

Fourth stop treating players and CC’s like only our money matters to you, treat us like people and not $$$ for you.

People are watching this unfold across all regions and it is time to do the responsible thing and admit that Wargaming was in the wrong and made mistakes.

NA region values trusting relationships with the businesses we choose to do business with, when that trust is broken it takes a long time to win it back. So do the right thing

Those who actually give a damn about the future of the game should just get out. WG doesn't care about the player base and only sees them as a profit stream. One of the things that bother me is that the player base didn't want CVs but we got CVs. We didn't want subs but we got subs. If it can be sold for $100 or more, it will become part of the game whether we want it or not. I've stopped putting money into the game. I had two other accounts that I've ended. I'm going to spend down by adding ships and then I'll sell my account. There is a sucker born every minute so I assume selling it will be easy.

What even is this response? I see no apology here at all. The fact it took you days to make this shows your ability to defend yourselves in this debacle. And that is what this is a debacle not a "incident". 36053105_2083072565280204_5323396132695441408_o.thumb.jpg.ae32145a8a68da546418b5de4c2665c6.jpg

A little more than 3 years ago I started playing this game and talked about it to everyone who either gamed or liked historical stuff. At that time I worked a help desk for one of the largest PC companies and tended to have long calls, due to having to do large reinstalls and fixes. I had time to chat I extolled the virtues of the game and the company who at that time truly seemed to care for it's players/customers.

In those three years I know I brought hundreds if not thousands of players to this game due to messages from people I talked to thanking me for pointing them to it.

I have also spent thousands of my own dollars on this game both for things for myself and gifts for friends.

Then comes the PR debacle (Puerto Rico) I was quite angry with what went on there. Both with the misrepresentations of how to earn the ship and the watering down from the prior year of the snowflake event. WG though seemed to realize the mistake and became more transparent about future dockyards.

In the last year or a little more I though have become increasingly disturbed at what I see going on. I fully understand WG is a business and they are here to make money. My family used to own a bakery/deli and yes we were out to make a profit. What we didn't do though was anger our customers and treat them like wallets for us to grab all the money from. We used to live by the axiom you have to spend money to make money.

WG does have events where they give back to the players not going to say they don't. Those events though seem to becoming fewer and further between.

About 3 months ago though I decided to close my wallet I cannot in good conscience give my money to a company who seems to only value me for what I can do for them.

I have enough premium time left to last to the end of the year if see positive change by then I will continue to play and start spending again. If not then it's time for a new game.

Happy sailing to all and have a great day

As bad as WoWs is WoT will win hands down. The monetisation and pay to win in tanks makes ships look like amateurs.

Wargaming proves once again that somehow activision blizzard is a better company. How do you screw up so bad that a company like that is better than you.

Hello everyone,

We are awfully sorry that AprilWhiteMouse and other CCs are no longer a part of our Community Contributors Program, and we’d like them to know they will be missed. We respect their decision and want to thank them for their contributions, devotion, and passion for the game and program over several years. We wish all of them best of luck and hope that they will stay in touch with us nevertheless, we will always be here to talk.

We understand that there are several causes that have led us to this situation and that we have upset and disappointed many of our CCs and players. While some of these causes are self-explanatory, and our commitment to fix them remains, there are a few specific points we’d like to comment on:

  • We appreciate the community feedback about Missouri being obtainable via Random Bundles exclusively in 0.10.7. We've been discussing this since last week and decided to add an alternative way to purchase the ship. We will provide details on our Devblog soon.
  • On the topic of Missouri, we know that there is an open question whether her earnings are on par with the pre-update version, especially considering signal flags and camouflage bonuses. We're carefully analyzing her adjusted earnings following the update, and will share our decision whether any adjustments to the mission are to be made.
  • Regardless of AprilWhiteMouse's CC membership status, we will stay true to our commitment to release HMCS Huron in 2022. She’s been added to our production plans and is scheduled to arrive around late Summer 2022.

Best regards,

WoWS Team

This is supposed to be an apology, where is it? It took you people two days to say you're "committed to fixing the problem". Really? You say you're sorry that the community contributors are leaving en masse, but fail to apologize for your actions that caused them to leave.

Terrible response from War Gaming. Talk about a dumpster fire. This has the potential to eclipse the Puerto Rico Disaster.

So wait, we don't even get an opt-in mission chain that rewards 750 FXP OR 50,000 credits OR 2 det flags and a random soccer patch?

PR disaster after PR disaster.

Puerto Rico dockyard...rigged Christmas loot boxes...hell, every loot box...Yukon...CC program...so many I am forgetting a lot of them.  And, they are coming more frequently.

Wargaming, we see that you crave the $$$.  But, why can't you see that when you alienate your players, you jeopardize that same $$$ you are craving?

Good luck resolving this latest mess...I haven't seen this much unity and anger in the player base, before.
