The signups are now live for the Verizon Warrior Series Tournament! (The other signups have been for training matches). Please visit https://vws.worldofwarships.com/ in order to sign up!

Signups close on July 14th. Make sure you share this with your clans, friends, people you mildly tolerate, etc. We have a lot of teams to fill.

I remember some complaints connected to the requirement for lineups having to be composed of 50% military verified veterans. Just curious if that requirement will stay or if lower percentages will be allowed if that number isn't reached to field full teams.

Tournament rules.

2.3.1.   All games are played in a 7v7 format with Tier VIII ships only.

2.3.4.   Teams are composed of at least seven (7) players and a maximum of eleven (11) players. 

2.3.5    A minimum of 6 players from each team need to be verified US veterans or active service members.

2.3.6.   Teams will be formed through a draft-process by a team captain selected by the tournament organizers.

2.3.7.   A maximum of 32 teams will be formed.

2.3.8    Each team will be able to ban 2 ships per matchup, as outlined in 4.4

2.3.9    All players will be provided with a special tournament account which will contain all ships eligible to participate. Use of these accounts is restricted, see 5.5

I *think* the way this works is that teams begin with a core of regular (vet/non-vet) players, then fill out their team with vets from a draft. 

Or maybe it's only team captains drawing from a mixed pool.

Does anyone know specifically?
