Subs now have aircraft detection radius... so you won't be spotting anything before it spots you...

Sub torpedo guidance is now worse against battleships and better against subs...

Do you even know what role a submarine is supposed to play?  Subs were meant to go after carriers and other large assets, yet you have them fighting destroyers.  Subs were designed to rely on stealth and spot the enemy before being detected, and now you've made them blind.

The targets submarines are intended to go up against are nigh immune to them, while the targets that were a threat to subs are now their primary prey.

Do you even know that aircraft were some of the most effective tools for spotting subs below the surface?

I mean, it's not like there was this whole zone of ocean in the Atlantic convoy routes where the U-boats essentially congregated to hunt because it was out of range of both American and British air patrols. :Smile_sceptic:

You misunderstand.   They're giving submarines the same spotting mechanics as aircraft.  That means your sub will have to be within 2.5km to detect most destroyers.  They're making subs blind.
