Shiki or Ohio?

I have enough currency to get them but I want to pick only 1 (whichever is more OP). Also, does anyone know if Ohio has better a secondaries build than shikishima? (Especially after the commander rework)

If anyone does have Ohio, how tanky is that ship?

If you have the currencies, get both. And yes, Ohio  is a better secondary ship. Each one is strong in their own way. I mean, Shiki has 20 inch guns with a fast reload good accuracy. It's Yammy, but even harder hitting. Ohio is good for 18 inch freight trains and secondaries.

with Ohio in coop, I ended up removing the secondary module and replacing it with the main gun range module, as secondary's are a shadow of their former selves on Ohio even with a commander with Long-Range Secondary Battery Shells and Improved Secondary Battery Aiming skills and manually designating a target.

There are 2 different currency.  I don't get the comparison.

Depends on what mode you play more. If you pursue for more steels (Clan battle & Rank battle), then Ohio will be your top choice. If you stay in random mode more and enjoy gun sound and extreme AP damage, then Shikishima won't depress you.

Ohio plays better in competive  because it has its nitch ( not secondaries fyi) shiki does not have any nitch in competive because Yammy could fill that same roll. So it depends on what you want big flashy numbers with great sound or a ship that you can play in clan battles. Second why are you comparing theses two there diffrent resources?

I don't understand the dilemma, they're not competing for the same currency. Get both if you have steel & RB points.

Ohio is more consistent. Shikishima is pure meme, a subwoofer low frequency tester.

As others have said, Ohio. Ohio isnt as accurate, but its a much stronger brawler. More accurate secondaries, better hull, and faster repairs and heals means it can survive pushing a cap when the timing is right.

If you fight a shiki, you want to induce terror when you shoot. That sonic boom followed by a dev strike killed enemy is a form of slow horror that can disrupt your opponets. But only fire when you are ready to take the kill. A good horrorshow requires slow cooking and a build up.

I prefer the Ohio. I do well with the JBB and Georgia provided I dont fall into the torp traps. (Derr hurr... heeyuk...) Seeing a Ohio advancing on you steadily while you take almost unacceptable levels of damage as time goes by.... Well... thats not a good situation to be in vs a Ohio.
