Sonar pings also travel faster at operating depth. Something something water pressure? Unless they slow down again at maximum depth, then it's just weird.

Just coming here to point out that that big, giant fat gap from 2000 to 0100 UTC is still in a lot of primetimes.

For reference, the test goes from 9AM-4PM East Coast time, then 9PM-12AM.  Not a great choice of times if you actually want NA participation.

Maybe this is just my problem, but when I click on install additional game instance, there isn't an option for TST. Just regular game and public test. Anyone else have this?

This could open a role for subs, using their sonar to make ships use their DCP. 

As a history buff, this really bothers me though.

Yep. Wargaming seems to forget that the world doesn't rotate around pacific time.

Give us a break already!  You've already had infinite CV reconfigurations.  They all stink.  Why add to the misery and confusion?  I dare you to poll the player base and go by what they choose.  Thumbs up or thumbs down to the whole submarine nightmare.  Use your assetts where they will do the most good instead of these wild eyed schenanigans.

Talk about a giant "What the :etc_swear:??!!??" moment, when I read it in the article.

The best thing about sub's, no one will complain about CV's anymore. But now there will be a million sub's suck comments!!!

Submarines don't belong in this game.  The way they work in the game and their abilities have no relationship to reality.  Adding spaceships or dragons would be just as realistic.

Since this is the third testing phase and i didnt see anything about a CV ASW capability, i should assume CVs will be useless against subs if they arent surfaced right?
