I answered the questions as accurately as possible, given the narrow focus of the questions, as well as ignorance of technical issues.

I will say that, as far as radar, making the range too much shorter would make it mostly useless. 

If the cooldown were longer, then more players would be able to trip me up in the latter half of the match, instead of having used up all their radar and then not having any when they really need it.

1.:  that is a slippery slope as if you make one ship optional to fight against, people will request the others as well IE DDs, CLs, CAs, BBs, etc.

2.: CVs are a warship, this are included in this 'world'

3.: I can see the merit in this. The Radar ship needs to be closer to be effective, thus putting it more in harms way.

4.: Its one of those 'radar is on for too long, I cant do anything' and 'Radar came back up too quickly, I cant do anything' things.

5.: I can agree to this. Makes it harder for the Radar ships to be effective if they are sitting protected by an island.

6.: no. The issue here is that radar helps the team, and the game mechanic is based on visual aiming.

7.: will never happen.

Simple solution, this is after all a warships game.  Aircraft should not be dominant in any instance, auxiliary only.  Unfortunately WG doubled down for profit and ditched good game design.

While I may agree with a lot of this.. it is a waste of time. WG does what it wants and player input has zero to do with it, so poll all you want, discuss and argue all you want.. it won;t change anything.. one of the many reason I uninstalled.... I feel bad for all the WG employees and CCs that have to defend them...

Looking for another choice on the CV issue...

CVs can remain in the game, but with 2 caveats:

1) One CV per team, max. 4 CV games are an abomination and should be an absolute no-no.

2) The introduction of skilled counterplay for surface ships vs. CV attacks. As it stands now if you are in a ship that doesn't have top-notch AA or a fast rudder shift you are essentially helpless vs. a CV that wants you dead or permaspotted. That's not good game design.

"How to make this game better"

Step 1:  Explain in clear, concise words (or pictures) how the current MM is current set/tweaked to perform.

Step 2:  Lower the cost of everything back to 2008 era.  Or covert the coal to steel ratio to 5/1.

Step 3:  Bring out the subs already.

Step 4:  Make the subs have anti air guns.

Step 5:  Add another type of planes for all CVs.  Preferably with SAP bombs, or rockets.

Step 6:  Bring back the smoke firing mechanics back with lower detection for all.

Step 7:  Only one in this list is a semi-serious post.

I recommend going back to the "Fair Play" Doctrine while implementing the suggestions in the OP's survey...

  • Not going to happen but at least I can reminisce  to a time/era WOWS was in that course...

We left this up for a number of reasons, the main one being that it's fine to express one's opinion on game matters, even if we may not agree with that. Yes, the poll is slanted, yes, it tends to display some sarcasm. We're human here, and if you disagree, that's fine too. 

Personal attacks, and political comments and comments intended to derail the topic are not fine.
